Yout uses only the cookies it needs to work, plus one optional cookie you control. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Essential cookies (always on)

session: keeps you logged in and protects forms from forgery. Removed when you log out or close the browser.

age_gate: set if a sign-up was refused because of age, so the form can't simply be retried. Lasts 30 days.

Optional cookie (you choose)

yout_display: remembers your theme, text size and other display settings on this device so the login page matches too. It is off by default. Turn it on or off in Settings > Privacy and data > Cookie preferences; turning it off deletes it.
